Sperm donor
Partner sperm
If you and your partner have attempted to become pregnant without success, we would gladly try to help you
We recommend that your partner first has a sperm analysis conducted so that we can ensure that the sperm quality is good enough for it to make it worth attempting insemination treatment. If this is the case, we will be able to wash the sperm, where we remove all the dead sperm cells and semen so that only the good and fast sperm cells are left. These sperm cells will then, with the help of a soft catheter, be placed in the woman's uterus.
Thus, we increase the chances of pregnancy as the sperm cells do not have to swim the long way through the cervix. The chances are also increased as you will be properly guided on how to find the time of ovulation and each treatment will begin with an ultrasound scan where we will ensure that the time is exactly right.
If you wish to start an insemination course with us, we welcome you to a personal consultation here at the clinic or via phone.
Before you begin treatment, we recommend the following blood test:
- HIV 1+2 (anti-Hiv - 1,2)
- Hepatitis B (HBsAg and Anti HBc)
- Hepatitis C (Anti-HCV-Ab)
